    A: Fully managed IT support refers to a service where a third-party provider takes care of all IT-related tasks and responsibilities for an organisation, including maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting, among others.

    A: The discovery phase is our opportunity to really get to know how your business operates and what you need to operate at the highest level. We'll do this on-site to uncover how your team works and what system specs and software are used.

  • Q: Can I have a bespoke plan? Can I pick and choose?

    A: Yes, we can provide a more personalised solution for you. However, we have put in a lot of effort to develop our plans to work together. There are some important aspects, especially related to security, that we cannot compromise on. If you choose not to include those, we will be unable to work together due to the risks involved.

  • Q: How long are our agreements with Westway IT?

    A: Our standard agreement is set annually with monthly flexibility within that commitment. What does that mean? Well, your user count can fluctuate on a monthly basis, but the overall plan you select remains in place for the year.

    Microsoft 365 annual subscriptions only allow you to increase over your year; we use our monthly commitment to give flexibility. We'll explain everything in our plan selection meeting so you can make the best choice for your business.

    And if you don't get on with us, we will not hold you to the year; we'd rather split ways. But hopefully, during our right fit and discovery phases, we've established a good working framework - so this shouldn't happen.

  • Q: What are your payment terms?

    A: We invoice monthly for the month ahead. Payment is by Direct Debit within 14 days. We don't extend payment terms.

  • Q: Can I get a discount?

    A: For the most part, no, that isn't possible on service provision, especially not for the pay-as-you-go offers. But you can save by working with us on blocked hours or retainers, and if you were to consider much longer-term agreements, we could offer discounts on our onboarding fees.

    You can also get a licence discount if you pay upfront for the year on software like Microsoft 365. We'll talk you through that when we select your plan .

  • Q: Do you offer discounts for registered charities?

    A: Yes! At Westway IT, we like to support where we can, which means offering a concession on your support plan and through our partners, software and hardware discounts. .

  • Q: How easy is it to upscale or downscale plans?

    A: Let us know when your team needs change. At Westway IT, we try to be as flexible as possible to provide you with what you need when you need it.

  • Q: What does your exit timeline look like?

    A: We run our Westway IT plans in annual commitments, but if you really aren't happy with us, then we would prefer 3 months' notice to offer a nice transition to a new partner. We like to make sure that you have everything you need.
