John Fisher Named GTIA Awards Finalist

We’re proud to share some exciting news from everyone here at Westway IT.

Our founder, John Fisher, has been named a finalist in not one, but two categories at GTIA UK & Ireland Spotlight Awards: Community Leadership and Future Leader.

This recognition is a fantastic milestone for both John and the wider Westway IT team, highlighting the impact of our commitment to people, relationships, and the wider business community.

Recognising Leadership and Community Impact

The GTIA Spotlight Awards celebrate individuals who are making a real difference across the technology industry, not just through technical excellence, but through leadership, collaboration, and contribution to the wider community.

Being shortlisted in both Community Leadership and Future Leader reflects the work John has been doing behind the scenes for many years:

• Supporting fellow MSPs and business owners through peer groups and mentoring
• Actively contributing to UK and international tech communities
• Sharing knowledge to help others strengthen their businesses
• Leading Westway IT with a focus on long-term relationships and simple, honest advice

John Fisher

Managing Director, Westway IT

John is the founder of Westway IT and works directly with small businesses across Gloucestershire to keep their IT secure, productive and stress-free.

With a BSc in Computer Science and hands-on experience supporting businesses from 1 to 40 users, he specialises in cyber security, Microsoft 365 and business automation.

An award-winning MSP owner and active member of the global IT community (including GTIA), John focuses on solving real business problems, not just technical ones.
