Supporting Digital Education in Zimbabwe: How One Computer Can Change Thousands of Lives

We’ve always believed that technology should make a positive difference, not just for businesses, but for communities too.

That’s why we’re incredibly proud to be supporting The ITSA Digital Trust and their mission to transform lives through digital education.

From Gloucestershire to Zimbabwe

Recently, one of the computers we donated has been included in a major shipment of 700 refurbished PCs heading to Zimbabwe.

While it’s just one device from us, the impact goes far beyond a single machine.

  • Each computer will be used by around 100 students
  • That means this shipment will support 70,000 students
  • Providing access to digital education where it’s needed most

It’s a powerful reminder of how small actions can create big change.

Why It Matters

Access to technology isn’t equal across the world. For many students, having access to a computer can:

  • Open doors to education and learning resources
  • Build digital skills for future careers
  • Increase confidence and opportunities
  • Support teachers in delivering better learning experiences

For these students, it’s not just a computer. It’s a chance to learn, grow, and build a better future.

Supporting Meaningful Change

We’re proud to work with organisations like The ITSA Digital Trust, who are making a genuine difference through initiatives like this.

As a business, we’re always looking for ways to reduce waste and give technology a second life, especially when it can have such a meaningful impact.
